I’m Dennis Lemckert and I try to fill this corner of the world wide web with the stuff that interests me as a person.
I’m working full-time as a civil servant for the Dutch Government. My professional status can be googled easily, so I won’t go into that here.
Personally I have quite a few interests, besides my work: Games, Books, Movies, Music, Hiking/Walking, Photography and ‘the good life’ in general.
On copyrights and licenses
Unless stated otherwise, which usually will happen when I import/borrow/republish a picture from some other website, all photographs and blogtexts are made by me. Therefor they are protected by Dutch Law, especially the dutch Copyright Law 1912.
However: as the bottom of this site states: All works which are owned by me and published on this site are published under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 Netherlands License. Basically that means the following:
Everyone is free to:
- Share. (make copies, redistribute and republish)
- Remix. (Make new work based on my works)
Provided the sharer/remixer does the following:
- Proper Attribution. The sharer/remixer must name me as the original creator/link to my website
- Share Alike. The sharer/remixer cannot withdraw this license. Not even from the works he/she creates based on my works.
- Non-Commercial. The sharer/remixer can’t ask money for the works and is not allowed to use them for commercial purposes.
Of course: There’s always the possibility to re-negotiate if one’s interested in using one of these works commercially. Post a message through my contact page for that.
